Portobello in Summer Community Meeting Invite 

I am writing to invite you to a community meeting I am holding this month in Portobello, set for 28th March 2026, 12noon, at the Bellfield, Portobello, EH15 2BP.

With the warmer weather now just around the corner this meeting is all about how Portobello is preparing for summer 2026.

I am delighted to be joined by council leader and Portobello councillor, Jane Meagher.

My thanks to police who will also be joining us to share their plans for policing Portobello during the summer months, as well as to answer any questions from residents.

I know many residents will wish to raise questions surrounding antisocial behaviour on warmer and busier days, as well as toilet access. This meeting is the perfect opportunity to raise any concerns you hold and hear updates from both the police and council.

Action Porty will also be with us to share their own updates from a busy 2025, and their plans for 2026.
