Bath Street - Street Meeting

During my Portobello Coffee Morning, residents from Bath Street attended to raise a range of persistent road, traffic and safety concerns. Such issues included high levels of traffic, speeding, ASB, and illegal parking.

I therefore decided it would be beneficial to hold a ‘street meeting’ on Bath Street, with residents, Cllr Jane Meagher, and officers from the Council’s Transport team.

A key takeaway from our meeting was that Bath Street was an unsuitable location for Uber’s default drop off spot for Portobello beach. I will be arranging a meeting with Uber to seek a better alternative as soon as possible.
